Om! Vajrasattva keep your vow!   Vajrasattva, reside in me,

DRDHO ME BHAVA   3   SUTOSHYO ME BHAVA   4

make me firm (in my Buddha nature),   make me well-satisfied (via the bliss of the Dharma Realm)

ANURAKTO ME BHAVA   5   SUPOSYO ME BHAVA   6

be pleased with me,   fulfill me

SARVA SIDDHIM ME PRAYACCHA   7

Grant me all success

SARVA KARMASU CA ME CHITTA SRIYAH KURU HŪṂ   8

and make my mind glorious in all actions

HA HA HA HA HOH   9

BHAGAVAM SARVA TATHĀGATĀ VAJRA MA ME MUNCHA   10

Bhagavan! All Tathagata-vajra! don't abandon me!

Glossary
vidya: mantra; mantra- short dharani.
om 1 Oṃ (AUM): seed syllable symbolizes the divine vajra body which is union-oneness with speech and mind.
  Vajrasattva: vajra-diamond, sattva-sentient being. Vajra, a weapon, the thunderbolt symbol used in art and magic of Tibet as representing the force of adamantine truth.
  Samaya: pledge, vow
  Manupalaya: mam- to me; anupapalaya- keeping, maintaining or protecting.
2 sattvatenopatistha: sattvatevna + upatistha. Sattva- sentient being; sattvatevna- nature, position of the sattva. Upatistha, upa- toward; tistha- stand; so upatistha means be present, stand near, appear.
3 drdho: from drdhas(singular), drdha (pl.). Dradhas (subject)-firm, fixed, hard, strong, solid, massive.
  Me bhava: "mad"(active voice), "me"(passive)- for me. Bhava (2nd person singular) - being, becoming.
4 sutosyo: from sutosyas, "as" becomes "o" if followed by a word. Sutosya(pl). Su- well, tosya- satisfaction, pleasure, joy.
5 anurakto: from anurakas (subject,singular), anurakta(plural). Means be pleased, beloved, attached.
6 suposyo: from suposyas (singl, subject). Su- well; posya- prosperity, abundant.
7 sarva: all.   siddhim (passive) from siddha (active)- accomplishment, success (in perfect abilities) .
  Prayaccha (2nd person, singl). Me prayaccha- please give me.
8 sarva: all. Karmasu: from karman (pl.), deed, behaviour, action. Ca(sk.): and. Me(sk.): for me. Citta: mind.
  Sriyah(passive, pl): sriyas (singl.), sriyam (Tib.) means auspicious, splendor.
  Kuru (verb, 2nd, singl.): please do. Hum: seed syllable symbolizes the nature of the vajra holy mind (heart).
9 ha ha ha ha hoh: sound expression of certainty and happiness. The five transcendental wisdoms of the five dhyani buddhas.
10 bhagavan (bhagavat, pl.): bhaga- opulence; van- processing. The lord as the processor of all opulence -riches, strength, fame, beauty, knowledge and renunciation.
  Tathagata: an epithet for a Buddha, derived from tatha-gate (thus come, thus go), means "he who come and gone as former Buddhas".
  Sarva: all. Vajra: see 1. Ma(sk.): not. Me(sk.): for me. Munca (2nd. singl): give up, let go.
11 vajri (singl.): (vajra + in), means invincible being, possessor of vajra. Bhava: being, becoming.
  Maha: great.   Samaya: pledge, vow. Sattva: sentient being.
ah (Ah): seed syllable of Vajra speech.   hum  (Hum) PHAT! Holy mind, destroy all negative distractions!
