Back Lot Stunt Coaster (formerly Italian Job: Stunt Track) is a launched roller coaster that opened in 2005 as Wonderland's 14th coaster. Its theme is centered on the climactic chase scene at the end of the 2003 film The Italian Job. The ride features unique cars which resemble 3/4th scale MIMI Cooper S cars. Special effects are incorporated throughout the ride which include sound effects built into the cars, a helicopter that attacks riders with simulated machine gun fire, and pyrotechnic and water effects. The boost at the beginning of the ride goes from 0-40 miles per hour in 3 seconds. There are 3 cars per train; riders are arranged 2 across in 2 rows for a total of 12 riders per train.

Ride Experience
Back Lot Stunt Coaster begins unlike any other roller coaster at Wonderland. Right off at the start, rather than having a traditional chain lift hill, the ride uses state of the art LIM's (Linear Induction Motors) to launch your MINI Cooper from 0 to 60 kms flying into a parking garage where you zip and turn inside the dark complex before emerging back outside into this industrial mockup area with shipping containrs, police cars, and even a helicopter surrounding you. The ride experience has exactly what you will expect and definately delivers the thrills, with laterals, verticals, visuals and more as you go through the circular layout, heading back in forth in all directions multiple times before flying through the "broken" billboard, zooming over the water, and then pulling back into the station.

Other Information
Colours: The track and supports are black, and there are three MIMI Cooper cars per train; each train has one blue, one red, and one white car.
Best Seats: Due to the design of the ride the trains are short so you will enjoy the same experience no matter where you sit.
Queue Line Wait Time: There is usually a long wait for this ride because it is still faily new and is really popular; usually a 45 minute to 1 hour wait.
