  • The village is predominantly inhabited (~90%) by the descendants of Shu premier, Zhuge Liang (181-234 AD), in the Three Kingdoms period – thus Zhuge
  • The construction & layout of this village follows the Eight Trigrams of Chinese Taoist philosophy – thus Bagua
  • Piecing together, the name of the village goes Zhuge Bagua Village

  • Its location is quite remote, such even the Japanese invaders or robbers have failed to find it while passing by
