House big, toilet big, kitchen big … |
- BIG
: relative term, used & interpreted by different people in different subtle ways; big to some, small to others, rest ok)
- In Architecture, size of a space is proportional to (amount of activity, movement, time spent inside, self-interest); if we spend more time, are more active and relate more often to the space as well as having more people coming, then should be of reasonable size to accommodate comfortably
- Showoff:
for some to showoff, display & exhibit their dwellings (in their nature to be snobbish), owners' revenge for being despised by others due to their previous seemingly insignificant "holes"
- Dream:
to some, it is a long-standing personal dream to own, live & enjoy in a space that that they own & can be proud of at the same time; sometimes it is as simple as having a balcony, sitting down & reading newspapers daily
- Needs:
some require the abundant space to store things, office, lodging (rents), freedom of movement & introvert nature (tremendous amount of time spent indoors)
- Criteria:
for those wondering what size is right for them, consider this - balance (needs, wants) with (ability to afford, chances available); aim for equity between the two - able, willing & can own the property that we need & want

Install & use air-con, equipment, furnishings … |
- Air-con:
to some, well-to-do enough & afford to enjoy the comforts, ok; to some, showoff, but suffering due to financial strains or moisture sickness; to others, avoidance because of sickness, discomfort, stuffiness, arthritis & financial constraints; to enjoy air-con requires (bodily health: no sickness, discomfort, arthritis, rheumatism, cold, numbness) as well as (space, finance to buy & maintain)
- Equipment:
some homes have sophisticated equipment like movie theatre, spas, rooms, etc. that are not easily affordable; more importantly, people who have these must have loved these (some are musicians, therapists, artists); these equipment are just tools that enable us to do what we like & like what we do
- Furnishings:
some have luxurious furnishings, some functional ones, others keep furniture for the memory; if can afford: enjoy; if temporarily can afford: enjoy while we are able to; if cannot afford: go in debt, tiredness more than comfort, leading to a materialistic, exhausting, dreaded life

View of relatives … |
- Mutual:
talk to, learn from, think about, feel, gain experience, insight, seek & provide helping hand
- Comparison other:
just people to compare to, compete against, hurt, expend our locked emotions
- Difficulties:
help, advice, encourage, lure & clear obstacles to righteous living; play along & guide by showing the way; raft together & raise stability amidst risks & uncertainties
- Occasions:
present at all life-changing & life-turning events like birth, birthdays, education, weddings, house-moving, festivities, difficulties, sicknesses & finally funerals; accompany us through the passage of life to passing

Upgrading, jobs, employment … |
- Continuous study:
improvement skills, experience, certification, raising the perceived grade of knowledge, upping the salary & opening more chances
- Jobs:
contractual (subjected to renewal every 2-3 years), temporary (part-time, wage only, zero welfare), permanent (right environment, right colleagues, faced everyday, important for harmony)
- Employment:
for the young, emphasis on learning, training, thinking, choosing & focusing on niche; for the old, emphasis on sufficient salary, welfare & stability
- Niche:
choosing, locating, finding & staying firmly & flexibly within our best relative to others
- Exceed our limit:
becomes exhausting, tiring; over long-term, feeling down, depression, sickness, death
- Below our limit:
okay as a chosen way of life, but do not actively compare to other people lest jealousy breeds
- Equal to our limit:
balance, equity, best, stay firm & flexible within & on our relevant abilities
