Modified Genetic Algorithms for Smart Control of simple Beams & Plates

Objective:

To achieve the optimal shape control using genetic algorithms subjected to smart piezoelectric actuator pairs surface bonded to thin laminated composite beams and plates

Scope of research:

  1. To develop and investigate the effects, results and implications of the Genetic Algorithms on the optimal control configuration using smart piezoceramic actuator pairs
  2. To investigate the effects and implications of variations of structural configurations and smart control configurations, involving desired control state and patch actuator pair configurations on thin laminated composite beams and plates
