Tablature files must be viewed in a monospaced font to be comprehensible. Courier, and fonts with "console", "terminal", or "typewriter" in their names are usually monospaced. Most other fonts, like Helvetica, Times Roman, New Century Schoolbook, etc. are proportionally spaced and will not display the tablature files correctly. Most web browsers default to a monospaced font when viewing non-HTML files. If this does not happen for you, save the tablature file (all tab files are plain text), and view it in an appropriate application, like Windows Notepad, MacOS SimpleText, or an MS-DOS or Unix shell.

Songs with more than one tablature available will have a list of available files. If applicable, subjective recommendations for a particular tablature link will be linked to the song title itself.
