Who Am I? Well, as you can tell, I am BIG Habs Fan. My name is Jan Marie and I was born on the 14th of November 1987 in Cebu City in the Philippines. Obviously, I didn't know hockey back then but when I immigrated here in Montreal in 1997, I discovered what hockey is. I didn't really follow hockey and the Habs that much until 2000. When I discovered the history that surrounds this team, I was truly blown away. My favorite Hab moment so far was when the Habs defeated first-seeded Boston in the first round of the 2001-2002 playoffs.

Fun fact: How many Habs games have I seen? None. Zip. Nadda. Yeah, I know it sucks. I just couldn't get tickets to the games and when my friends invited me, it was too last minute. Actually, I have NEVER seen a REAL hockey game until my school organized a teacher against students hockey game. As funny as it sounds, that was my FIRST real hockey game. I don't really have a favorite player as suprising as that might sound. I just think that there is way TOO MUCH talent in the NHL to chose from. In my spare time, I like to read books listen to music, sing, dance...You know, pretty much what every other teenager likes to do. I also try to follow sports such as baseball, football and basketball. My favorite teams (besides the Habs of course!) would have to be the Yankees and the Expos, the N.Y. Giants and the L.A. Lakers. I don't know why I like teams that are based in New York since I don't seem to like the Isles and Rangers that much (No disrespect to Isles and Rangers fans! Please don't hate me!)
