| Following an injury to Amero Ware, fullback Tom Holt (pictured) became the Bulldogs' featured ball carrier. Holt responded with 434 yards and nine touchdowns in Drake's final three games. Drake led Division I-AA in total offense in 1982, averaging 444.8 yards per game. In 1983, Holt was selected as a first-team academic all-American. |
