always in front of the television
with his hand in a bag of cheetos.
LAURA
-The Overachiever,
has her own catering business
and is running for school office.
AUDREY
The Snob-
private school girl who hears
tales of Clyde's kissing prowess.
DENISE
Nickname Double D-
earned the nickname in the fourth
grade for being the most developed girl
at that time.
Episode #222
Original Air Date: 3/16/2000
Laura is a very busy girl,she runs
her own catering business and she's
running for class office.Clyde is
crashing over at her house and is in her
way slacking off in front of the TV.Then
her server Double D cancels at the last
minute because she has a date with a boy.
Laura asks Clyde to fill in for Double D,
but Clyde refuses. Only after Laura threatens
to call his parents to come get him does Clyde
agree to help her.They flirt subtly,though she
insists he is not her type.When Clyde is asked
out by Audrey at the fancy party,Laura thinks
it will be bad for her business.Or is she
jealous?He tells Laura she needs some
"action" to help her relax and so she can
win her campaign. Laura wants Clyde to wear
one of her campaign pins but he says no on
account of he doesn't like voting or politics.
While Clyde is sleeping Laura tries to slip a
campaign button on him as he sleeps,but he wakes
up.Laura kisses him and says that was a "SO NOT
SOMETHING"kiss.

Original Air Date: 3/20/2000
If Clyde is going to a fancy affair,Laura
tells him he needs new duds. She preens him
and lends him a tux. He cleans up nicely,not
that Laura will admit it. Audrey arrives to
pick up Clyde and he's dazzled by her. Laura
pretends not to notice. He returns early,and
just when he and Laura are warming to each
other,Audrey shows up again looking for a
kiss from Clyde. She and Laura don't like
each other. And when Laura leaves Clyde and
Audrey alone,she's clearly jealous. Audrey
then cashes in her kiss coupon with Clyde.
Episode #224
Original Air Date: 3/21/2000
Its election day and Laura is ready to win.
Clyde and Audrey slept on the sofa all night.
Audrey,before she leaves,tells Clyde she'll
wait for his answer. She wants him to run away
with her. Clyde is undecided. Denise arrives.
She tells Laura what an amazing kisser Clyde
is-and she kisses him. Denise leaves and Laura
is mad at Clyde. They argue. She leaves to see
who won the election. When she comes back,he's
organized a one-man victory celebration for her
with signs saying "Congrats Laura".
He apologizes,but she's upset and angry,having
lost the election by one vote.
Episode #225
Original Air Date: 3/22/2000
Laura,feeling defeated after the election,has
decided to try her hand at slacking. She's
becoming a female version of Clyde
wearing flannel,skipping school,watching
television and eating cheese puffs.
Clyde,on the other hand,is
shaping up,and tells her that she's not a
loser-or a quitter. She says she wants
to drop out of school. Clyde tells her
she can't. He likes the old Laura
better.Clyde thinks of a way to cheer Laura
up. He makes a mini-campaign to get Laura back
to normal. He paints "Vote 4 Clyde" on Laura's
stomach. He wants her to vote for him-romantically
that is. They giggle and kiss until Audrey comes and
asks if he's ready to run away. Clyde asks "I guess
I'm ready,am I?" Laura says nothing in return so
Clyde says,"Well I guess nothing's stopping
me so I'm coming." Clyde leaves with Audrey leaving
Laura alone. But a moment later,he's back and says
hi to a shocked Laura.They kiss,Laura returns to
normal and finally the slacker and overachiever hook up.
