Project AXIS is a major development project to replace Telecom Australia’s existing Service Orders system existing on Honeywell mainframe computers.
Cincinatti Bell International Systems (CBIS) was recruited to install the CBIS O/S Orders System, but when that system was found to be lacking in Telecom Australia’s business needs it was decided to build Project AXIS from the ground up.
I was employed as a technical advisor to the Project AXIS Validation team to participate in the planning and conduct of the validation and testing activities for Project AXIS.
