Matt Kennedy

Born in 1962, Matt made his SHC v Castletown-Geoghan in a S.H.C semi-final in 1979.  Played throughout the 1980's and right up to and including 2000.  Won All-Ireland "B" medals with Westmeath in 1984 and 1991.  Matt won S.H.C medals with his club in 1996,1998,1999,2000 & 2002.

Denis McNally (Snr)

A native of Banagher Co. Offaly, Denis gave great service to the club as chairman and Co. Board delegate in the 1970's.  Died in November 1982 as a result of injuries sustained in a motoring accident, he was only 40 years of age.

Thomas Farrelly (Snr)

Involved with the club as an official since its formation.  As a player he won SH championship medals with Brownstown in the 1940's.  Tom died in tragic circumstances in June 1984.  He served as vice-chairman of the club for some years prior to his death.

Jimmy Daly

Collinstown and Westmeath hurling star of the 40's and 50's.  Missed out on the 1955 Leinster Championship semi-final v Wexford due to injury.  He was a selector when Lough Lene Gaels won S.H.C titles in 1975 and 1976.  His sudden death in February 1996 saddened Lough Lene Gaels hurling club greatly.
