2005 saw the club win both the U/14 A and U/10A titles as well as retaining their Feile title.  The club also qualified for the semi-final of the Senior A competition, losing out to Cullion. A hat trick of Westmeath Feile na nGael titles was secured in 2006, St Munnas were defeated in this final.

As 2006 began to unfold further on pitch success was to come the way of the Gaels.  In June  the U/10 A championship was retained, Drumraney were overcome in the final of this one.  An U/12 A title was won in June also with the Gaels defeating Crookedwood 6-2 to 1-2 in a fine all round team effort.  While the club failed in their quest for U/14 A Championship honours the squad made amends by winning a first U/14B title, defeating St. Munnas in a high scoring final.  Further success followed with the U/16s defeating Brownstown 5-4 to 1-2 in the Final played in in Clonkill on Saturday October  28th 2006.  2006 was to end on a sad note for both the club and Collinstown with the untimely passing of Ann Smyth, N.T. on Thursday November 2nd.  Ann was the Clubs first ever Secretary in 1986.  During her years as a member of the teaching staff of St. Marys National School, Collinstown, Ann encouraged love of and playing of hurling and camogie among the multitude of students who started ans completed their primary education in the school.  The huge turnout in St. Marys Chruch, Collinstown on the evening of Friday November 3rd when the funeral cortege arrived and again on the morning of Saturday November 4th at the funeral Mass and afterwards in St. Marys Cemetary, Collinstown was reflective of the esteem in which Ann was held.

2007 saw the Gaels win the Feile na nGael competition for the fourth year in sucession, a fantastic achievement.  This year saw another first for the club, namely winning a camogie championship title in a final played in Cusack Park. The Final in question was the U/12 A competition in which the Gaels defeated Brownstown 5-4 to 1-00.  Linda Healy thus had the honour of captaining the first ever team representing Lough Lene Gaels camogie club to win a final of any description played in Cusack Park.  That success was not the end of additions to the clubs role of honour, on the afternoon of Saturday September 15th, a three in a row sequence of u/10 A camogie championship titles was completed.  In a cracking final Raharney were defeated.  Sunday September 16th the U/16 Championship was secured for the second year in sucession defeating Raharney  in a well contested final.   The 2007 Westmeath Senior B camogie  championship was played on a seven players per team, one day tournament basis, at the St. Oliver Plunketts Hurling and Camogie Club Ground in Mullingar.  The Gaels  emerged victorious defeating St Munnas by a one point margin in a great final.

In 2008 the purple and golds qualified for no less than eight different finals, a noteworthy achievement.  The Club won the Feile competition for an amazing fifth time in sucession.  The U/14 squad then went on the win the U/14 A title in 2008, defeating Crookedwood in the Final.  The Club also contested the U/12 A Final in 2008 losing  to Raharney by just a point in a thrilling encounter.  Defeat was to be the lot of the U/10 B and  Senior A teams in championship finals.  But it was not all doom and gloom as 2008 rumbled on. At a sunny and warm Ringtown on Saturday September 20th 2008 the U/16 won their third title in a row, beating St. Munnas in the decider. 2008 was the year in which a new competition made an appearance, namely the Intermediate Camogie League. The Gaels were to be its first winners when on Sunday November 2nd 2008 they defeated Raharney 4-3 to 3-2  in a keenly contested affair.  One of the five championship titles won by the club in 2007 was the minor camogie cghampionship.  The semi-final versus Castletown-Geoghegan was yet another forst for the camogie club, as it was the first match of  a competitive status played by a team representing the club, under floodlights.  The semi-final in question was played in St. Lomans G.A.A. ground  in Mullingar in November 2008.  The Gaels were much too strong for the Castletown girls on the night and they qualified for the final on a  3-4 to 0-0 scoreline.  Brownstown awaited the Gaels in the final, a decider that was not played prior to the end of 2008.  The Final was in fact, played at a Ringtown venue that was bathed in beautiful warm sunshine, on the evening of Thursday April 2nd 2009.  The gaels girls played superbly and in a display full of skill and determination they were to defeat Brownstown on a 5-10 to 1-3 .  This win was to give the girls back to back U/16 titles a superb acheivment by all concerned.  The progress made by Lough Lene Gaels Hurling Club since its foundation on Februray 10th 1986 has been breathtaking and very positive.  As 2009 continues to progress, Lough Lene Gaels Camogie Club looks forward to making further positive progress.
