| Who am I ? My name's Lotus and I am a gypsy at heart. I find it hard to put down roots in any one place. I have lived in several countries and although I live in Canada now, it's anybody's guess how long I'll stay. I LOVE my life and I do believe that the best is yet to come! My philosophy in a nutshell : you create your life by your thoughts...in other words, we are deliberate creators of our lives but most of us live in ignorance of the fact and thus create our lives by default. |
| I am a graduate of Life Sciences, but my first love is reading and literature. There is no greater pleasure than to be able to sink my teeth into a well-crafted book. I love words...I love learning how to use them; Words well chosen can be so effective, so powerful. I want to be able to move about in a language as gracefully as a fish swims in the ocean. I love to travel...to my good fortune my job with the airlines has allowed me to travel to many countries, but I have travelled the entire world as an armchair traveller! :) I constantly SEEK KNOWLEDGE. I am perpetually curious. I love exploring new ideas, cultures and experiences. I love meeting new people and to learn and share with them. I am not sure if I can be described as intellectually adventurous or a dilletante. I am hoping I am more like the former! :) Like I said earlier, I LOVE my life; each new day brings with it such potential to learn and grow that I find myself eagerly looking forward to tomorrow! |
