Hey Dancers!
Here is an opportunity to spend a week dancing with Mrs. Jones, the dance
teacher at Los Alamitos High School. The camp will take place in the dance
room (room 501) at Los Alamitos High School. You will be dancing three hours
a day (two for Beginning/Int. 1): half on technique, half learning different
combinations in different styles of dance. There will be a short exhibition
for friends and family on the last day of camp. What a great way to stay in
shape over the summer or to get familiar with the program for next year! Dancers
don’t have to be in the dance program at Los Al High School, nor do
they have to go to the school – anyone can sign up! (Dancers need to
be going into 8th grade or higher the following school year.) So bring some
friends!
NOTE – The first three camps are for Intermediate 2, 3 and Advanced
levels only. The last camp is for Beginning and Intermediate 1 levels. Please
do not sign up for the Int. 2/3 and Advanced camp unless you are sure you
are ready for it.
The cost for one week of the Int./Adv. dance camp is $110.00. The cost for
the four-day Beginning camp is $80.00. (Beginners – wear comfortable
work-out clothes. Do not worry about buying dance clothes or shoes –
I will talk about these the first day of camp.) If you would like to attend
dance camp, please fill out the form below and send it with a check made out
to Rikki Jones by Friday, July 8th. The camps fill up quickly so don’t
wait until the last minute! (Your check is NONREFUNDABLE, so double-check
vacation times before you sign up!)
