Fighting Back
Poster Contest
Each Year our students participate
in this contest sponsored by our SB county Schools and the Fighting
Back Council. They are responsible for the Kids' Fight Drugs Poster
Contest along with Red Ribbon Week in October and Free for the Weekend
events in the Spring. The Students are encouraged to create their own
"Slogan" based on the theme "I've got better Things to
do Than Drugs". This year our school is honored to have 3 Honorable
Mentions . Our 8th grade girls, Maddie Sloan, Jillian Ryan and Danelle
Cometa have been selected as finalist for the 8th Grade and attended
the Ceremony at the SB Courthouse on Oct. 20. The posters chosen are
from over 2000 submitted to County Education . Here is a sampling of
some of the work done by our students in 3rd, 4th and 8th grade.
