Orlando is quite new to the world of cinema; Legolas in 'The Lord of the Rings' being his first major acting role since graduating from Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. However since filming the trilogy he has starred in a lot of blockbuster movies, such as 'Black Hawk Down' and 'Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl'.
When he was 23, Orlando broke his back after falling three storeys from a window. He was told he would never walk again, but after twelve days he found himself walking out of hospital after surgery.
In his spare time, he enjoys doing extreme sports.
