| One of the greatest actors of his generation, Ian McKellen was knighted in 1991 for his services to the performing arts. He has appeared on a countless amount of stage productions and movies, most recently being 'X-Men' and 'Six Degrees of Seperation', before his current role as Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings. Ian's two solo stage shows, 'Acting Out Shakespeare' and 'A Knight Out' have toured the US, UK and Europe raising funds for many local charitys. |
