Boromir has always been a proud man of his city and heritage, and represents the race of men in the fellowship. He is valient and courageous in battle, but proves to be weak willed when it comes to the ring. He met an untimely death when he found himself being killed by the Uruk Hai, in his last attempt to protect the hobbits.
