That New York's Longwave are friends with The Strokes will do them huge favours in some quarters - and in others,
most likely ensure that many a potential fan misses out as they run screaming from the hype brigade. Luckily though,
they're far less scrappy than their counterparts; Longwave's appal goes hand-in-hand with a quality that's unassuming
and full of grace. A rare gem.
