Longwave - Everywhere You Turn

'Everywhere You Turn' is good, wholesome earnest rock pastiche from New York's Longwave, who, it seems, clasp a copy of U2's 'War' close to their chests and secure it in a place with the zip of an oversized raincoat. An odd idea, grave-robbing from a band that are so alive as long as we have hairs on the back of our necks, this sort of horizon-gazing, knowingly bombastic post-punk shall continue to strike acceptably grandiose chords. Wheel forth the wind machine!
