LONGWAVE
At first listen, LONGWAVE invite comparisons to Radiohead and The Smiths. However, they are not British. LONGWAVE hail from New York City and have quickly become the most talked about indie-rock quartet on the Lower East side club scene. And rightfully so (Alternative Press selected them as one of the "100 bands to watch" in 2001). Ethereal guitars, haunting yet delicate vocal melodies and killer hooks combine for a sound that is both visceral and spiritual in its construction.
