SRR Ra`KalenChapter Seventy-Two: The Leih is Not Pleased
[Kalen]

Raith sat back at his desk mildly contemplating the situations. His crew had predominately voiced an interest in pushing forward- as was his intent. His talk to this 'Riam' person had gone relatively well and looked promising in delivering yet another new crewman into their midst- as was his intent. Intel said that t`Ren had escaped the vanguard base's destruction and was now harboring a suspected star fleet officer- which was of no interest. Further intel suggested they had traveled to ch`Havran with a portion of the newly AWOL'd crew of SB Hama- and were in the capitol some where- which was fine by him.

Raith would have continued, but his train of thought was derailed by a small rodent warping across the table in front of him...

[Deck 5: Scince Lab]

Ragarok is standing going about his business. Things seemed not to have gone too poorly with his experiment- the hamsters had not interfered with anything and the crew seemed largely oblivious of their presence. The Eredh would have busted out with mirth- had he not been interrupted by the pesky door chime. Not wanting to spend any more time than necessary, Ragarok rushes to the door.

"Who is dis..oh!" the Eredh catches himself. "Jolan`tru rekkhai... why are you not wearing your boots?" The Science chief stares at the Commander's bare feet.

"Explain," Raith says flatly in response while lifting up his boot.

"It would appear to be a hamster rekkhai," Ragarok replies squinting at its tread.

"Menkha," Raith tosses the officer the shoe and walks off down the corridor. He pauses at the turbolift to tap his com receiver. "Raith to Kuro and Remi... I have not had the opportunity to sleep in some time- and there are hamsters on the ship."

"Aye.. Ku and I have...*Experienced* the phenomena"

"Menkha... kill them all. I will be at rest for a few hours and I expect the problem to be solved by the time I wake up."

"Ie rekkhai. We're on it"
