SRR Ra`KalenChapter One Hundred-Thirty-One:
The "Real" Experiment, Explained
[Brig, security office]

erie`Riov tr`Kandeen sat in his cell calmly in slight meditation. He slowly transferred his state of mind into total isolation from the surroundings and transfixed himself on that one spot of his mind. He takes the air in slowly and deeply, allowing the blood through his veins to regulate consistently. He was at peace with himself. There was virtually no noise coming from outside his cell, it was deathly quiet.

The force fields dropped and shadowy figure stepped in. "Rekkhai, first phase of instructions executed"

"Casualties?"

"None Rekkhai, everything happened as au had intended"

"Menkha", he grinned and looked up. "The team?"

"Loyal to me only"

The Galae officer placed both hands and lifted himself off the seat.

"Are au waiting for something?", he gave him an decisive look and it was all that the Rei`Kransu needed. The guerilla looked at his team and gave them the signal.

[Oira, a few minutes later]

Two floor panels burst open and from each, an upper half body of a guerilla holding a disruptor rifle appeared, they took aim quickly at the throne. The bridge crew could only response in awe and suddenly a bright magnesium flare grenade exploded from behind the throne...

The oira crew were bounded and made to kneel on the deck. There were still having trouble adjusting to the light after the magnesium blast. Among them were tr`Kuro, t`Pranara, tr`Remi and tr`Ragarok. They managed to look up and notice a familiar face peering down at them. It was tr`Kandeen.

"Jolan Tru...I am truly sorry for such treatment but it was necessary to prevent any un-wanted aggressiveness. I assure you that everything will be duly explained", he looked towards the guerilla leader. "release them"

"Ie, Rekkhai"

Soon, all the oira crew were un-cuffed and allowed their original position. They all stared at Kandeen, awaiting his further comments, if there were any. He began again, "This was a test of your abilities to observe how the Kalen's senior staff would react to a foreign element that threatened the interests of the crew. Neither I nor tr`Raith would have expected au all to react with such efficiency...I have to admit, I was expecting any of these so soon. Au all do realize this could never have been executed so well if Raith were still in command."

The erie`Riov walked towards the viewscreen, then he turned with his back facing it. "None the less, I am willing to overlook this matter since au all had performed much to my, as well as Raith's approval. I will now need your undivided loyalty to making the New Republic great, but only with your help can we succeed"

Kandeen could see it in their eyes, one by one they nodded in acknowledgement. Kandeen gave instructions for the guerillas to return to their respective positions.

"Now, somebody tell me how long till we reach the battle up ahead"
