[Science Lab, still in the process of being reconstructed]
tr'Ragarok was working his hardest to get the lab fully operational, or at
least more so. Sure, when he had made his station's report to the bridge,
nominal systems were functioning. Of course, that was then, and before he
had fired up one of his new systems that had happened to knock out certain
sensors. tr'Ragarok was now working utilizing a method of repair that was
very dangerous and to most would be considered incredibly stupid- he was
hooked into the system while working on it. One wrong crossed circuit would
send electrical feedback into the equipment, one accidental re-route could
have the ship doing the hokey-pokey. However, by far the biggest danger was
sensory overload, causing mental damage and in some cases total insanity in
the poor sod who was hooked in. Somehow, this didn't bother tr'Ragarok.
Instead, he was immediatly able to tell what was missing, and what worked
and what didn't. He instructed some of the repair crew in what was wrong,
and they set to work immediatly. Within seconds, because of tr'Ragarok's
detail of the problem, the long range sensors fired up, giving the science
officer immediate detail. Intuitively, after recieving the data, Donal ran a
diagnostic. No, it was there. Immediatly, he contacted the bridge.
"Science to bridge. Long range sensors have just reported a large anomaly.
From what I can tell from preliminary readings, it is at least somewhat
sub-spacial in origin, and I'm picking up high levels of tachyons and
chronitons eminating from it. This means the closer we get to it, the
tougher it's going to be to remain cloaked.".
