SRR Morrahe`VnuChapter Thirty-Six: The Trouble Begins
[Rhagarokk's office, a little after the dinner]

"Laser-welder... sonic screwdriver... catalytic converter..." Rhagarokk's office was cluttered. Plain and simple. There could be no getting around that fact. "That's the last time I let my tools get out of my bag..." The beep of an incoming message from his terminal interrupted his rabid scrounging. Sitting down at this desk and brushing loose parts off of himself, Rhagarokk types in his code to accept the message.

"Donalh! Good to see au again."

"Jolan'Tru, Vaed'Rehai tr'R'Mor." Rhagarokk grinned and replied to the Director of the Science Fleet. "What can I do for au?"

"Well, for io thing, I wanted to wish the blessings of the Elements on au before au get too far out of range. I received the report on my desk; this mission is all in military hands, I had nothing to do with it." Rhagarokk smiled slightly and nodded to the aging scientist. R'Mor had always had a soft spot for Rhagarokk- one of the few friends Rhagarokk had in the Senate- due to the huge chunk of alternate universe technology Rhagarokk had given to his department, and to the new life that had been breathed into the Science Fleet. "Secondly, I wanted to send au an interesting program that was sent to Research and Development a few months ago that I've just come across. Normally, I'd keep it there to be fully investigated and tested but... au have a personal stake in it."

"Personal stake? I..." Rhagarokk rose an eyebrow... having no past in this universe lead him to have very few personal stakes in anything.

"Just read the description and au will see what I mean. Elements be with au on this next mission, and bring the Morrhae'vnu back in io piece."

Rhagarokk saluted and the communication went off. The computer terminal lit up with the incoming file, and Rhagarokk began to read the report.

Enclosed: "Vaed'rehai" [Professor] Data Retrieval and Access Systems
Layout and Optional Hologram Interface
The Final Work of Donal tr'Ragarok, submitted posthumously by way of USS Coronado.

The "Professor" System and Hologram is designed to retrieve data and solve problems in the most efficient way possible. It operates on the same principles as the Predictive Percentage Based Computer Core technology....

Rhagarokk skimmed through the rest of the document. He already knew the idea behind it... his "cousin" and he often had the same technological breakthroughs. Nowadays, Ragarok was the one focused on scientific breakthroughs while Rhagarokk was interested in his command. Well, that was until Ragarok's "death". Rhagarokk and Ragarok were connected in ways that no one could ever understand, and on top of that Rhagarokk was a genius... he didn't believe for a second that Ragarok was actually dead. In fact, he was surprised he hadn't seen more "posthumous" scientific breakthroughs.

Rhagarokk stood up, knowing that there was nothing he could do now about his "cousin".... the least he could do right now was to test his invention. "A hologram, eh?" He mummured to himself. "The boys said that the holodecks could use some work... kill multiple mogai-a with io stone... Computer, transfer Vaed'Rehai program to Holodeck 2. Science Lab 2, this is Rhagarokk, have a few R&D boys meet me down at Holodeck 2 to test a new system and see if we can improve the Holomatrices."

Rhagarokk snatched up all the tools he had been able to gather, threw them in a bag, and left.

[Holodeck 2]

In fact, the Engineers hadn't finished working on Holodeck 2, and Rylan's stop gap escape solution hadn't been entirely undone. Inside the highly advanced computer, a Khensia succubus program and a Professor learning library program were, in computer science terms, compiling together. But in a more vulgar sense, they were mating...
