SRR Morrahe`VnuChapter One Hundred - Sixty-Three:
Vyynd Getting Set
[240104.13 After the mission to steal a warp core ended....]

The corridors of the Morrhae'Vnu lay dark on Deck 12, wires still torn from the ceiling, pouring out from the walls at every available console and conduit. Some lights flickered, and sparks flew, as the testing currents were sent about to affirm different functionalities on the ship. Voices echoed about through the hallways, resounding through the ship in harmonic reverberations. "That's enough for section 4.let's move on to the next"

Vyynd sat, draped in countless wires in a random duct above the corridor, the light from his computer shining off of his face, hands, and the wires surrounding them. "Good" He typed decisively, then twisted a few wires together and typed some more, "That about solves problems in 5 and 6.continue on to the other sections. See to it that everything is finalized, and then have power restored here"

He rose, closing his computer, disconnecting it from the console, and stepped out into the corridor. Sealing the panel where he had been working, Vyynd started down the hall toward the lifts. Smiling as the entire deck lit up with controlled energy, the ship was finally starting to feel more like a functioning starship then it had for a while now.

Upon his exit, Vyynd hooked to a console and conducted a last scan of the entire ship, making sure that Rylan's request to not take on any stowaways, then finally reinstating the basic security system as the ship's hull was now primarily repaired. Reassured once more of the ship's full connectivity and operation, he headed off to the camps to finish his duties there and assist the move.

[Security Station]

Report after report flowed in and out of tr'Khaine's quarters, no single one containing a trace of the missing political officer. The security precautions had been dismantled entirely, and most of the camp was being transported inside the ship, yet he could not bring himself to think of leaving without Aemhig. Sending a concerned query to the Leih, Vyynd considered it everything he could do at the moment, and continued to file reports on everything found and everything affected while in the past. Time splaying out amongst the files, accounts, and documents in chronological order, both to their outer-timeline occurrence and their historical adaptation order, the security officer was startled to suddenly notice his counter part draped over his back.

"How are things in the busy world of the ants?" t'Rharin smiled sweetly and deliberately let her hair block his view of the isd's before him.

"Terribly boringhow's the night life?" Vyynd smiled for the first time in the passed day, and spun his chair to face Aeris, who laughed

"Ancient! And boring as would be excepted.and even au are too busy for me!"

"Sorry dear, but I've been working for quite some time.a long break would be more then welcome!" The agent proceeded to viciously tickle and playfully tease the frustrated second in command.

"And where were au this morning?!" Aeris entreated while fending off her attacker.

[Remotely, Earlier Morning ]

Fog warped, flowing in a hypnotic vortex around the elementa's body, caressing his muscles and calming his mind. The ancient world appealed to his animistic side, so untamed, untapped, the elements were still naturally over-abundantit was the perfect place to meditate, and the perfect time to learn.
