Old Auditions

Ever wonder what the cast were up to before they found their niche as the Yugioh characters? We at Papyrus have managed to get a hold of records of the various roles the cast had auditioned for before they became stars.       Watch out, there's everything for Pokemon to Lord of the Rings to Barbie! See them try and fail for positions as understudies, stunt-doubles, extras and even local flora!.      Let the pointing and laughing begin!

Name: Pegasus J. Crawford Auditioned for: James (Team Rocket) Reasons for dismissal: A) Had one eye too few B) Kept saying "Ashy-boy" instead of "Twerp"  C) Wouldn't put down his wineglass (was never quite sober)

Name: Yami Yugi Auditioned for: Nameless underwater plant-life Reasons for dismissal:  A) Scared the fishies. B) Got nervous around so much water.

Name: Yami Malik Auditioned for: Brolli (evil super saiyan) Reasons for dismissal:  A) Used his rod instead of his fists B) Wasn't buff enough (see A)

Name: Seto Kaiba Auditioned for: Heero Yuy Reasons for dismissal:  A) Being richer than Quatre is a no-no B) The shorts C) Noa threatened to sue for stealing his image (see B)

Name: Jounouchi Katsuya Auditioned for: Keroberos, Guardian Beast of the Seal Reasons for dismissal:  A) Claimed he'd been blackmailed into auditioning in the first place B) "Damn you Kaiba!"

Name: Yami Bakura Auditioned for: Inu-Yasha Reasons for dismissal:  A) Skipped the "Iron Reaver" and went straight to the "Soul Stealer" B) Couldn't pull off being a good guy, no matter how rough around the edges C) Couldn't handle having to turn into a "pathetic, present-day mortal" at every new moon (and dying his hair black besides)

Name: Mai Valentine Auditioned for: Barbie Reasons for dismissal:  A) "Sorry, doll, pink isn't my colour." B) Refused to undergo plastic surgery

Name: Yugi Mouto Auditioned for: Frodo Baggins Reasons for dismissal:  A) Nearly convinced the directors to rename the movie "Lord of the Puzzles" by sheer cuteness alone B) The Eye of Sauron took one look at him... and start melting C) The Ring Wraiths took one look at him... and started melting D) Samwise took one look at him... and confiscated his leathers       Yugi: Noooooo! Leeme alooone! **runs away screaming**      Sam: But Mister Yugi! 'Tis mighty improper for you t'be dressin' like that!
