1999 Winter Solstice on Ice (A&E)
The host of Winter Solstice On Ice is Jim Brickman. Some of the top professional (and some eligible) skaters in the world skate to the musical artistry of George Winston, Tuck & Patti, Samite, Peabo Bryson, Phil Perry and many other Windham Hill artists. A snow castle just below the Arctic Circle in Finnish Lapland became the extraordinary location for the production of part of this program, and the skaters also skate upon the frozen sea with an icebreaking ship nearby.
