1992 (March) Feature on Wide World of Sports about recent Olympics and the figure skaters who medaled there: Kristi Yamaguchi, Nancy Kerrigan and Paul Wylie. Yamaguchi and Wylie are interviewed.
1995 (December) Stars on Ice cast live on CBS This Morning. Interviews with several members, including Scott Hamilton, Katerina Witt, Paul Wylie, Kurt Browning and Rosalynn Sumners.
1996 (February) Ekaterina Gordeeva is interviewed. She discusses the difficulties faced since Sergei Grinkov�s death and her recent return to skating. This was right after the show which was filmed for "Celebration of a Life" and shows a few clips from the show.
1997 (September) EXTRA Feature on Scott Hamilton which discusses his recent battle with cancer. Scott is interviewed throughout the piece and clips and photos of Scott on and off the ice, earlier and later in his career are shown. Some clips from the recently taped show "Back on the Ice" are shown.
1997 (November) EXTRA Scott Hamilton talks about his recent battle with cancer. The focus of this piece is more on his relationship (at that time) with Karen Plage and how they coped with it together. Scott and Karen are both interviewed.
1997 (Autumn) DATELINE Christopher Bowman �The Ice Storm�. The piece discusses Chris as a child actor, and his skating career. It talks about the ups and downs, his problems with substance abuse, his conflict with his coach Frank Carroll, switching coaches, and finally how he had settled into a new life of being a coach and commentator, with a wife and child. Interviews with Chris, Frank Carroll and Toller Cranston.
2002 (January) Good Morning America : Feature on Todd Eldredge. Talks about his career and ups and downs and wanting to compete at the Olympics again. 2004 (March 1) Jamie Sale & David Pelletier on Cold Pizza. Jamie and David are guests on ESPN2's morning show.
2005 (December) Todd & Megan Eldredge on The Knot on Oxygen network. The program covers their wedding preparations from earlier in the fall.
2006 Ice Diaries (TLC) follows 4 eligible ladies from the US (Sandy Rucker, Beatrisa Liang, Danielle Kahle & Alissa Czisny) through their daily and competitive lives throughout the 2005-06 season.(I have Episodes 1-5, but TLC changed the time for Episode 6 and I missed it; they have not yet repeated this episode to my knowledge)
2006 (January) Sasha Cohen on Project Runway. The designers' challenge is to create an ice skating costume for Sasha.
2006 (February) Announcement on ESPNnews of Olympic team : Michelle Kwan is named to the team.
2006 (February) Olympic Ice. This was an hour-long show which ran each day on USA network from February 11-24 during the Olympics. It was hosted by Dick Button and Mary Carillo with additional co-hosting by Jamie Sale & David Pelletier; there was also supportive hosting by Sandra Bezic and Scott Hamilton. Many skaters were invited to the show during its run, and there were daily reviews and fun features as well as lookbacks to other "classic" competitions at previous Olympic games.
