| ~Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl~ Personal Comment. |
| COMMENT: Just like all other Orlando Bloom movies, I have to say he is most amazing in this captivating film. I know what youre thinking I only think its good because he is acting in it, but you must know thats not all the reason why. It was entirely my type of movie, incorporating humour, action, romance and anything else there is into one brilliant movie. The fact that Orlando was consequently a member of the cast is purely a bonus. But as a cute, innocently honest blacksmith at the beginning, he took my breath away. He looks fantastic in long johns and his sword-fighting!! Whoa! He is graceful as well as intense, and thats what made him perfect for the role. I think he and Johnny Depp shine equally well together on screen, and make a great duo in the pirate idea of things. The prospect of a sequel or two looks good, as Orlando (Ive heard) has already been approached about it, and he has already confirmed is such a thing is definite, he will not hesitate to take up the offer again, and maybe even again! A word of advice to many of you, who are obviously reading this because youre also a fan when you see this movie, dont read the script beforehand like I did. It made a huge difference, because I realised words in print have a much more delicate effect than I initially thought and plus, my friend didnt exactly like how I recited every single line possible, so thats only another reason. I had waited long enough to see this movie, which I had been planning to see since the beginning on the year, and when I found out it was coming in July 9th, I was disappointed to read that was the USA Release date Anyway, I did not take my eyes off the screen. Orlando and Johnny are totally adorable in this movie, and I found every cute and sweet and funny except whenever Keira and Orlando were in the same camera shot. And yes, I did shut my eyes when they kissed right at the end it was heartbreaking, but AT LEAST it was only a kiss, right? I recommend this to all ages, but now Im thinking to some youngens, the skeleton aspect would be a tad frightening, wouldnt it? But anyone who loves an enthralling movie, a breathtaking plot, a handsome co-star and ridiculously mind-blowing effects, dont you dare hesitate to see Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl. You will discover, along with Will, Jack and Elizabeth the true meaning of life, love and sacrifice, and you will certainly see the potential in the anticipated sequels, as I did. Finally, I must add that it was great to see Orlando in a natural character, being English I mean. His accent was very real (because of course, it is) and I love the way he meant every syllable that was uttered from his gorgeously shaped mouth. I loved it, and I intend on seeing it over and over and over because I have decided he is my future husband. ONE WORD: Gratifying |
