The Wilderness Adventure Club (WAC) has offered myself and many other D&E students multiple opportunities to face a variety of challenges. Whether it be squeezing through tiny caverns on a caving trip like Megan Heatwole demonstrates above, or confronting a personal fear of heights, WAC has put us to the test and opened our minds to new possibilities through such challenges. Former WAC President Rhiannon Burk notes that "the wilderness is a wonderful place to learn team work, and self-sufficiency. It is those things that I have incorporated into my education and life style."
