| The last Hanging on the Square of Lamar, 1919 Jay Lynch was the last man hung in Lamar for the killing of Sheriff John Harlow and Dick Harlow This photo was taken by James Mount who ran a Shoe Repair Shop on the westside of the Lamar square He watched as they drug Lynch out of the Courthouse, grabbed his camera, crossed the street and took the photo. |
