Kiunga Cha Mkono ("Shackle Hands") was developed by Nganga Mfundishi Tolo-Naa from traditional African martial styles. Traditional blocks and strikes are combined into one application along with flashy moves. The hands are symbolically linked together to represent the slavery of the African people and based on the concept that two hands are better than one. There are three levels of hand linking in this style; hands joined at the wrist, hands separated, and hands crossed in the same manner as ancient Egyptians are pictured. The final level symbolizes spiritual cultivation in the style.

Why Study Kiunga Cha Mkono?
It's very impressive, it's effective and it also has a strong moral background. It is great for overall fitness and build, and it gives decent self defense capabilities as well. If you want fancy kicking and grappling, look elsewhere.
