In 1989, Marilyn received the Elwood Chaney Outstanding Clinician award from the Ohio Speech-Language-Hearing Association. This is based on membership and involvement in a local organiation, state or national organizations and functions, or innovative contributions to the work setting.
She and Ellen McCafferty recently authored the book, Using Literature in Classroom Language Lessons, published by ECL Publications.
As of 2008:
Marilyn was serving as the Interim Clinic Administrator for the Speech and Hearing Program at Cleveland State University.
