My wife, Jeanne, is a training advisor at EDS (Electronic Data Systems), at their headquarters in Plano. She enjoys gardening and reading. We both like to travel, and spend time with the grandkids. My hobbies include tennis, model trains, and workshop projects.
Son Doug is a senior at the University of Texas at Dallas, where he is majoring in Computer Science and plays soccer for the college team (Collegiate All-American), and he has a son, Gavin (1 1/2 years old). Courtney is a junior at North Texas State University, majoring in Psychology, and she has a daughter, Shelby (2 years old). Jaclyn is a junior at the University of Texas at Austin, where she is majoring in Psychology, and preparing to go on for an MBA. Jon is a sophomore in high school, on the wrestling team (city champions!) and plays guitar.
I recently took a position as a geologist with Omni Laboratories, a geological and enginnering laboratory, in Houston, Texas. I split the work week, partly in Houston, and partly in Plano (lots of air travel!). My job consists of analyzing and interpreting rock samples, both in the lab and in remote locations, both domestic and foreign. Recently changed jobs due to a corporate downsizing/merger, leaving Atlantic Richfield (ARCO) after 11 years of service. Have traveled throught the U.S. and the world, including China, Venezuela, Tunisia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Syria, and Romania. Also trips to Germany, France, Spain and England.
Also have two Golden Retrievers, Taffi and Misty, that never seem to run out of energy.
