Life in Godding household is peaceful, happy and never boring. We live in Gales Ferry, Connecticut, with our three dogs. Jake, a golden lab/golden retriever mix; Stella and Grace, both basset hounds. My daughters are flourishing. Kate is in Rhode Island and is the head teach in a Preschool. Emily is living on Vancouver Island in the beautiful town of Port Alberni with her partner of over 6 years, Rod. They are both thriving artists. Jerry passed the bar exam and was sworn in to the Connecticut Bar last October. Recently, he took the Rhode Island and Massachusetts Bar exams should have the results in May. Next up: The Patent Bar.
Last summer we took Emily, Kate, my sister Julie and Jerry's daughter, Kelli and her family - her husband Larry and our three grandbabies, Abby, Ted and Johanna to Walt Disney World for 9 days. We had a great time. We did all the amusement parks and even Medieval Times. We are still recovering!
My business is still doing well. We continue to work with the Federal government.
Life is, most definitely, good.

Recognizing a need among slot players, Kerrie Godding of Gales Ferry, Connecticut, invented the device to solve a problem faced by thousands of slot player: how to compute credits into cash equivalents. Last year, Godding attended the G2E (Global Gaming Expo), where her idea further crystalized. "I visited every booth and was surprised no one had anything like my idea," she says. "I also learned from slot players that although many machines have a touch-screen to convert credits to cash, most people never choose that option. Most players say they don't want to know every minute how much they're 'donating' to the casino."
Following her research, Godding invested energy in engineering the most useful design for the ChaChing!(TM) Calculator. "I wanted it to look like a small slot machine, the size of the Players Club card with a hole to hook on a lanyard," she comments. The retail version bears the ChaChing!(TM) logo, while the corporate sales version reserves space for advertising or casino customization. There's even a handcrafted "blinged" version with genuine Swarovski Crystals.
