Mike just graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in Journalism. He has started a job at Channel 6 in Columbus, OH, on their news department. Elizabeth just graduated from Bedford High School and will be a freshman at Ashland University in the fall. She is going to school on a swimming scholarship. Jerry is 1 1/2 years from retiring from teaching. He teaches Elementary Physical Education for Bedford schools.
I teach gifted children in the Wickliffe city schools. I teach a pull-out program for students in third through seventh grade and also work with some students and teachers in the younger grades. It's a great job, very challenging. It forces me to always be learning new things and gives me a lot of freedom in the classroom. I also have begun teaching some graduate workshops for a couple of local colleges. Which is fun.
Life is good, hard to believe we are this old. I certainly don't feel it or think it. I taught Jazzercise for 12 years but since selling my franchise I do lots of things including taking tap and jazz classes. My goal in life still is to live farther than 10 minutes from Southgate.
