Married to Robert and have one child, Robert 5 1/2. My husband is a sixth grade teacher for Streetsboro Middle School. We have been married for 9 years. We have enjoyed living in the Falls for the past six years. Our dog, Katy, is a three year old Basset Hound, who rounds out the family circle.
I am an elementary school teacher, first grade. I have taught in the Streetsboro school district for the past 11 years. I find a great deal of enjoyment in working in this honorable profession.
My family enjoys spending a lot of time during the summer in Vermillion at our summer place, boating and fishing on Lake Erie. After graduating from Kent State I also went on to Akron University where I obtained my Masters Degree as a Reading Specialist K-12.
As of 2008:
Marietta was scheduled to teach the reading program in June-July as part of the Ride + "Read" Class at Pegasus Farm in Hartville, Ohio.
