Don was the only person listed as part of both the 1969 and 1970 graduating classes. He had put his hand through a glass door, had surgery, and missed enough school to be a quarter of a credit short of receiving his diploma with the rest of us in 1969. Instead, he received it with the Class of 1970.
In early 2008, don reported that he had recently married and that his name had changed.
On August 21, 2008, the following appeared in the Plain Dealer:
Donald Kocsis-Marrs, 56, of Lowgap, NC, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008. Survivors include his wife, Ambra Bradley Marrs; daughters, Royce Ann Lomax, and Erin Christine Kocsis; son, Joseph G. Kocsis and several other loving family members and friends. Moody Funeral Servies, Mt. Airy, NC is serving the family.
A family member reported that he died in his sleep.
