Here's the text of a newspaper article dated October 11 (probably 1986):

BEDFORD - It was the kind of auto-motorcycle accident that left even the most veteran police officer wondering why.
Two Maple Heights residents were victims of a fiery crash on Broadway Avenue early Saturday around 2 a.m. when a north-bound car driven by a Seven Hills man went left of center and struck their vehicle.
The motorcycle was driven back in the crash and burst into flames.
Laura Flak, 32, of Maple Heights, a passenger on the motorcycle, was pronounced dead from injuries to the neck and head and severe burns, Bedford police said. Flak was taken to Community Hospital of Bedford, but then rushed to Metro Hospital in Cleveland via Life Flight helicopter.
The driver of the motorcycle, Jeffrey Jana, 35, of Maple Heights was pronounced dead at Suburban Community Hospital from chest injuries.
The 20-year old driver of the car was charged with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and DWI. His blood alcohol count was measured at .17 by Bedford police.
Bond was set at $10,500 for the three charges.
