My husband, Gordon, is a 1968 graduate of Maple. We have been married for 27 years. Our first child, Katie, died when she was 5 months old in 1979. We now have a son, Matthew, attending Ohio State in the fall. Julie, 16, is a junior at Garfield Heights High School. Our youngest, Lorene, will be in the 6th grade this fall. We are involved with scouting, school activities and music.
I currently work at Independence Public Library. I've been there for 7 years. This fall, I will return to teaching for the Garfield Heights School System - 1st grade reading.
