Susan S. Edwards, age 56, of Brunswick and formerly of Maple Heights, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2007, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Susie was the beloved daughter of the late James E. and Susan Z. (nee Zazik). Susan was the devoted longtime companion of Sharon Hoffman; and step-mother of Amanda Hoffman (fiance John "Iggy" Dosky). She leaves to mourn her passing her best friend and identical twin, Gail A. Popovich (Frank); sisters, Janet Spieth (Ron Ostrowski), Carol Lund, Cheryl Shultz; and brothers, James E. and John (Darlene). She was the loving aunt of Leslie and Nancy Spieth, Samantha Shultz and Jeffrey and Jason Edwards. Susie will be greatly missed by her two golden retrievers, Jake and Abby; chihuahua Turbo; and cats Teapot, Tinker and Callie. Friends may call at the Ferfolia Funeral Home, 356 West Aurora Rd. (OH Rt. 82), Sagamore Hills, where services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation on Wednesday from 3-9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated in her name to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119; or to the animal shelter or animal rescue organiation of choice.
