After working 23 years as Clinical Director of Concord Counseling Services, I've resigned. The stress was not worth it, in fact I took a cut in pay. I find that since I'm 50 (excuse me, since we're 50... at this point, some of you 51), I'm less willing to live with unfun stuff. I took a position as Ombudsman for the Mental Health Association of Franklin County. A new position, so I get to develop it. Most people have no idea what an Ombudsman is, so I've decided to add a few pounds and take on the persona of Don Corleone and become: The Ombudsman. Lots of power and money in Mental Health, and it will be all mine.
Other than that - I made a trip to Venice Beach this past August for a college reunion, and got to spend an evening with Mike Sexton, who is a hip L.A. guy. Mike showed me a lovely time at the Santa Monica Pier.
My oldest, Scott will graduate from Bowling Green in June, and Sean will start at Ohio University in September. My hair continues to go on adventures, leaving my head, getting lost, and taking up residence in my ears and nose.
