The following comes from the website of the Maharishi University of Managment:
Dale Divoky, Assistant Professor of Art, has contributed his comprehensive experience in the ceramics field (from industrial to architectural ornamentation) to the sculpture department. Additionally, Divoky teaches fundamental art courses. "Art and Nature" recognizes nature as a primary source of inspiration, whether it is in the welling up of our inner nature or an experience of the outer expressions of nature. He directs first year students in exploring their own inner experience through the vehicle of self-portraiture (metaphoric and/or realistic).
Professor Divoky is doing research in the area of Maharishi Sthapatya-Veda design, an ancient science of design in accord with Natural Law. With this system, buildings and environments promote greater health and happiness for the occupants. He has created several large architectural ornaments that adorn buildings through the world, based on this science.
Dale received his BFA in sculpture at Alfred University. Subsequently, he studied both at the Cooper School of Art and privately, with the renowned sculptor John Clague. He has had public commissions in the New York State Capitol building, the International Mario Lanza Society Museum in Philadelphia and in the Meredith Building in Des Moines, IA. Private collectors throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia have also purchased his work.
