Occupation: Project Manager at NASA Glenn Research Center

Children: Pat (21), Tim (18) and Andy (16)
I work at NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland and the NASA Plumbrook Station in Sandusky under contract to the government through an independent contractor. My job is Project Manager. Basically, that means I'm part of a design build team that takes an idea and designs it, figures out how to build it, puts a cost to it and when funded builds it. The project can be anything from constructing a building to creating equipment used in research. I love the job.
My hobbies and spare time:
1. I started taking drawing classes in March of 99 and have actually found I have some talent.
2. I write poetry and in June of 99 won first and second place in a contest I entered. The 2 poems are being copyrighted and will be published in the fall.
3. I do woodworking. I like building musical instruments and copies of antiques. I use power tools to rough cut the wood but all final cutting and finishing is done by hand. I use a lot of antique tools in my work and feel that the skills from past craftpeople still linger in the tool and helps guide my hands as I labor.
4. Love bike riding.
5. Love theater.
6. Love music.
7. Love life.
My final thoughts as I close this Bio:
The quality of life is in the mind,
