Married 23 1/2 years to Denise who is an ICU RN at Marymount. Oldest son Brandon works in heating & cooling. Damian attends Lakeland. Jennifer attends Kent. Both work part-time. Two grandsons - Paul (4) and Joey (3).
With the city for 15 1/2 years. In my present positon I am the dispatcher for the service department. I do a lot of phone answering, job scheduling, purchasing, record-keeping and just plain schmoozing with the residents.
Since the past reunion, our family has built a new house in Auburn in the woods on a gravel road away from the city. It's quiet and peaceful. Hope to travel more with my wife and take glider (flying) lessons.
June 15, 2001:
The Ohio Lottery announced that 34 Solon City Service Workers had won half of a $25 million jackpot. After federal and state taxes, that means that each of the 34 received a lump-sum of $108,971.89. Since both Allen and his wife, Denise, are both part of the group that played the lottery together for 15 years, they were able to take home twice that figure.
