We lived in Maple Heights until 1992. I remarried in 1992 and moved to Shalersville (Mantua area). I gave up the city life and moved to the country. I feel like I live on Green Acres, but I still don't look like Eva Gabor.
My jobs are great. I still do hair in Maple Heights two days a week. I've done some ladies for 30 years. I got my vocational teaching certificate in 1980. I taught (sub) at Maple cosmetology. But since we moved out here, there is a vocational school called Maplewood J.U.S. I have classes some days in culinary arts making clam chowder for 50, then the next day I'm in auto body with 25 guys 11th & 12th grade. I love it because I know all the tricks because I did them all in high school.
My life is very different here. The mini farm has chickens, goats, pheasants, ducks, rabbits, cats and a dog. I am head advisor in our 4-H club. See you gus. I finally did make it to the "FUNNY FARM".
