Occupation: Legal Secretary
Spouse: Jim Kerch
Children: Josh (19) and Jacklyn (10)

After graduation I went to Kent State for two years and was there (and running for my life) during the May 1970 shootings. Shortly thereafter I moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where I met my husband. In the mid-70s Jim and I moved to Charleston, SC, and lived on a 1929, 42-foot Elco Yacht for about six months where Jim did black water diving for artifacts. I fished and worked on boat engines for the dock master where we had the boat docked. We then bought a 30' sailboat and moved to south Florida. We lived on the sailboat for about five years and did day sailing around Lake Worth. Josh was born in 1980 and we all lived on it for three years. We sold the sailboat in 1984 and lived in a 28-foot travel trailer for about a year on the same piece of property where we had out boat.

In 1985, we moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and bought a house on a beautiful wooded acre lot in Stone Mountain. Stone Mountain is a 700' high "rock" which you climb, walk around, or take a cable car up. It's a wonderful park where we canoe and hike. We also own 35 acres in Colorado where we plan to build a house for vacation and retirement.

In 1989, Jacklyn was born. She's a lovely 10-year old who plays soccer and plays clarinet in the 5th grade band. She loves horses and summers she is at the YMCA horse camp. Josh is currently 19 and attends college at Southern Polytechnic University where he is studying mechanical engineering.

We have two dogs at the current time (we have buried 2 cats and 2 dogs in the back yard so far). Gypsy is a 75 lb. Rottweiler and Pursie is a 20 lb. Terrier/Spaniel mix. They get along great and constantly play, just like little kids.

Jim has been in carpentry for over 25 years and currently works with a furniture/cabinet shop doing installation. You can visit Thomsen, Ltd. at www.thomsenltd.com to see some of the furniture they build.

I have been working as a legal secretary for about 13 years and right now I work with a construction law firm. My boss represents steel contractors and one popular job they erected is the Cleveland Browns Stadium. I am also a distributor for Reliv International, an 11-year old nutrition company providing high-quality nutritional products that are essential to your and your family's health and well-being. You can visit Reliv at www.reliv.com. And be sure to e-mail me and ask for my free newsletter What Every Woman Needs to Know, which I wrote to educate and inform today's woman.
