    Isaan Music is the music of Korat.   For those of us that were fortunate enough to be stationed there, we enjoyed with all our senses sights, smells and sounds of "Isaan Country" and in tribute to Jonas Anderson and all the many good things this young man of 27 stands for, I dedicate this section to his music and the karaoke lyrics of same.   The first Isaan song and my favorite that I will publish here is "Salawan."   Saravane is a medium size town in Southern Laos and has origins for both Thai and Lao citizens of the region.   It is between Savanakhet and Pakse (in Laos) and Ubon in Thailand.
