Woodrow Lee Sparrow (Woody)

Guitar

(1969 - 1970)

Woody Sparrow appeared only on the first album due to the fact that he left the band due to terminal illness (as I understand) after contributing to about fourteen or fifteen (to my knowledge) tracks. Seven or eight on the first album, another four (later five) on the second (although he did not perform on any of these) and also "Can't Stop (Doing It To You)" and "1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8". I hope that he was able to record all these tracks before he passed on.
Apparently (and here's where I get suspicious) he also wrote at least eleven other tracks without the rest of the band this may be the same person or it may be a BMI error (they have enough of them).
The name meanings are as follows
Woodrow means "row of houses by wood"
Lee means "meadow"
and Sparrow which means exactly what it says.
The meaning of these names is what inspired the nickname that I have used.
